 Walt Hopkins is the creator of the Castle Process for Life and Career Design and a lifelong advocate for helping people take their dreams seriously. Born in the United States and based in Europe since the early 1980s, Walt has spent more than four decades working with individuals and organizations around the world to help them reconnect with purpose, possibility, and direction.

His work has reached thousands of people across more than 60 countries and has been trusted by global organizations including Apple, the BBC, Disney, Procter & Gamble, the United Nations World Food Programme, and the European Space Agency.

In 1986, Walt introduced his now-iconic framework A Goal Is a Dream Taken Seriously, which became the foundation for his Create Your Future workshops—and today, the inspiration behind Castle’s Dream Discovery Workshops and Retreats.

Walt describes himself as a serious dreamer who believes deeply in people and possibilities. His life’s work centers on three enduring questions: 

Who am I? 

What do I want? 

How do I get it?
